Coaching Services


Northwest Energy Lab helps time-crunched professionals train for long-course endurance events - including triathlon, running, and cycling - despite their busy schedules. All of our coaching is delivered online, through the Training Peaks platform and video calls.


We offer Personal One-on-One Coaching, which is highly customized for your training goals, and offers the most flexibility and coaching support for athletes with demanding jobs, busy family schedules, and ambitious training and racing plans.


Our Online Group Coaching programs offer race-specific training plans, for athletes of all levels, supported by monthly group Q&A and a closed Facebook group.


We believe that health and fitness is a lifetime pursuit, and that no goals worth achieving come easily. Working toward and accomplishing your athletic goals can be one of the most personally rewarding experiences in your life and we strive to be your long-term partner on this journey. 


Triathlon, Running, & Cycling Coaching

Our personal coaching plans are highly individualized, created just for you and your goals. You will work one-on-one with a coach to structure a long-term training plan that supports your fitness goals, your areas of weakness, and your individual strengths. Details of each plan are provided below.

Online Group Coaching

For the athlete who wants a race-specific training blueprint and monthly group check-ins for Q&A with a coach.

  • 30-min 1-on-1 initial consultation to discuss your background and goals

  • Access to Northwest Energy Lab training plans and workouts

  • 1-hr open office hours video call once a month with all Team athletes. Each month we will discuss a training topic and will have an open coaching Q&A

  • Premium Training Peaks account

  • Closed Facebook Group

  • Personalized goal-setting worksheets and action items to get you to your goals

  • Additional 1-on-1 calls to discuss specifics of your training and goals $50 per 30-min.

Performance Coaching

For the athlete who wants a personalized training plan with flexibility, and regular expert guidance on training, nutrition, time management, mental prep, and recovery strategies.

  • 1-hr. initial consultation to discuss your background and goals

  • Weekly personalized training plan with detailed workouts

  • Unlimited adjustments to training plan, when life happens

  • Weekly training feedback

  • Daily text/email communication as needed

  • Regular performance testing to ensure you are training at the right intensity year-round

  • Pre-race planning and post-race analysis

  • Nutrition guidance

  • 45 min phone or video call once a month 

  • Video analysis upon request

Nutrition Coaching

For the endurance athlete looking to improve performance through nutrition education, awareness, and discipline. 

$195 per month

$95 per month add-on for Endurance Coaching clients

  • 1-hr. initial consultation to discuss your background and goals

  • Assessment of your current nutrition habits and ideals

  • Personalized goal-setting guidance, with mini-milestones, worksheets, and tasks along the way to get you to your goals

  • Twice a month, 45-min phone or video call to check in on your progress
